Count Up
The Count up version shows the user their instant and accumulated consumption/day. The display (invisible behind the mirror) remains off until any tap is opened.
The smart water flow monitor can monitor an entire household/ flat , an whole bathroom or just a sink…. The instantaneous consumption (top row) is reset after 20s of inactivity and the total consumption every 24 hours (for example at 3:00AM)
SaaS / Cloud
In both versions (count up / down), consumption data can optionally be sent to the cloud for statistical treatment. (averages, trends, costs, kWh used for DHW heating, leaks or misuse…)
Retrofitting
Ideally, we’d enter the project during the design phase. However retrofitting in existing buildings is also possible. Replacing the mirror is not compulsary as we have a retrofit version that allows you to place the display anywhere ( with RF communications without having to connect wires from the flowmeters ).
The energy rehabilitation of buildings normally consists of improving insulation, enclosures, adding solar panels and batteries. Regarding water, it is time to achieve more savings apart from those achieved with eco taps, aerators & flow limiters…
